Policies
Upon receipt
of a credit card order via the Internet, telephone or facsimile,
columbia-elevator.com will seek an approval code from the customer's
credit card issuer, and charge the account for the full order
amount at that time. Stock items ship via UPS Ground within
three (3) business days, non-stock or custom fabricated parts
within three (3) business days after completion of fabrication.
(Customers are advised of approximate fabrication time at time
of order and prior to charging the credit card.)

Return & Cancellation
Policies
Stock Items
Cancellations
received prior to the shipment of stock merchandise will result
in no charge to the credit card account.
Any stock
items that are returned to Columbia Elevator Products within
30 days of customer receipt, in their original condition, are
subject to a 100% credit of the merchandise price to the credit
card account. A Return Authorization code is required from
Columbia prior to such return and credit, which may be obtained
by e-mail (parts@columbia-elevator.com) or by calling Columbia
Elevator's Parts Department toll-free at 1-877-COL-ELEV. The
original shipping and/or handling costs are not subject to
refund or credit and all return shipping costs are the customer's
responsibility.
Custom-fabricated
products
Not
subject to cancellation or return.
Sales
Policy
Columbia
Elevator Products Co., Inc. sells only to the elevator trade
(individuals/companies contractors who subsequently resell
our products as part of a service/repair, or as part of a new
installation, for ultimate sale to an end user required to
pay applicable sales taxes). Columbia does not sell directly
to end users and is not obliged to collect any sales taxes.
It is therefore Columbia's policy to sell merchandise exclusively
to companies/individuals who have provided us with a resale
or tax ID number.
